ENTRANCES AND MASTER PLAN
JOCKEY CLUB DEL PERU
Surco, Lima, Perú
The project consists in the organization of the facilities and properties of Jockey Club del Perú, located in Surco, Lima. The Master Plan includes the creation of new plots to be used by the club as rentals, the redesigning of entrances and internal pathways, as well as 6 new buildings intended for sport facilities and services for the club members. This includes the general services building, new Bocce Ball, tennis courts stands, kids’ playground and stage and a new sport center equipped for international competitions.
The new entrance project offers a new vehicular and pedestrian entrance for visitors to the horse races, as well as one separate for club members, which has an additional northern entrance that comes from the tunnel merging with Javier Prado Avenue. The entrance is designed with exposed concrete which supports a double curvature plan, referencing the original cover for the original stands of the club.
