San Isidro, Lima 2009
ACM condominium is a 6 level apartment building located between the avenue Alvarez Calderón y Manzanilla street in the district of San Isidro. It has a total of 16 apartments (duplex and flats) with varying distributions.
The project originates from the desire to connect the two fronts available with a volume orientated towards and East-West axis in order to maximize ventilation and sunlight. The façade of the volume is minimized towards the street side in order to preserve privacy. Open spaces are orientated towards green areas that compose 40% of the site as well as the main views towards the Roosevelt Boulevard and the gardens from a school nearby.
The floor slabs retreat progressively in order to generate terraces for all the apartments. These open spaces are complemented with the large recreational areas found on the first level as well as on the cover. All these open spaces create a visual connection between the project and the existing park system as well as the multiple gardens in the surroundings.
